The NYC Rising Stars are a revamped organization of the Original College Point Stars. We are a Non-Profit Organization offering a Professional  Style Program. The organizations' co-founders are Adrian Castano and Nelson Santiago, two players of the original College Point Stars, originated in 2001. Nelson Santiago Sr. created this program to provide inner-city kids with an opportunity to showcase their talents outside of New York City.  We are continuing this tradition with specific enhancements in hopes of giving this new generation, not only the same training we were provided but also a more enriched program with diverse opportunities. This program focuses on structure and accountability which is one of our main focuses when it comes to developing these young men. We feel with this mindset, the sooner we can get these players prepared for the next level (collegiate/pro), the more successful they'll be. Our main goal is to combine each player with a college which matches their personality, interest, and talent, hopefully with a scholarship. All our players are required to maintain a specific GPA. We are excited and are looking forward to sharing all of our experience, knowledge, and expertise with the upcoming youth.
